Listen to excerpt from PREVAIL

Rebecca Rainbow hosting The World Sound and Movement Festival, Portsmouth, July 2010

‘For I am a white shard of light!
A crystalline tip,
Under pressure I was formed,
My body adorned
With the reflection of my refraction,
The open prison of my prism
Swaying within the human mandala
I’m not heading for Shambala,
For look!
I’m already in Earth’s beauty parlour,
For my nails I’m filing
Free human spirit I ‘aint defiling
For I pierce the membrane of my sanity
Surely that is not profanity….?’
