My inspiration from colour
“What is this colour thing with you Rebecca?” you may ask.
”Well, I can share with you, that it is not just about what you are seeing. Colour is on one level, visual, how our eyes interpret the physical world around - but it can also describe emotions. You may know of the chakras, for example. A system of energy centres believed to be situated in the body, originally devised from the ancient yogic tradition of India, from around 3,000 years ago. Essentially, each part of a person’s ‘emotional’ body is represented by a colour and this colour is associated with an emotion, such as green, to represent the heart chakra. This is an enormous area of debate, wisdom, knowledge - but it is true to say that colour definitely affects us!
I am sure you may have felt a certain way, either wearing or seeing others wear a certain colour, or respond to your day differently under a blue sky or surrounded by glistening white snow, etc. Colour weaves it’s way constantly through us, through our day.
I honour colour,as a part of my physical reality that is honoured and recognised. I purposely choose dynamic colours, even from ordinary items, such as toothbrush because that item will form part of my visual world, and therefore part of my emotional make up as my eyes track a room.
My sessions have a variety of paths. One is to guide you to gently utilise colour in your life, to help raise your vibration, because the gentle healing power of colour is readily available all around!
I don’t ‘tell’ you how to use colour in your life but through our conversations there may be an opening around ways to lift the vibration of how you live, what you wear, and through small changes to lift how you feel!”
I often speak of the effect colours have on me, and how they can make a difference, in a positive way, to my life, in my You Tube musings or my shorter expressions on Instagram.
