Hello Cosmos!

When you’re walking along the street, it’s inevitable that your head might be slightly pointing down, and at the same time your eyes are scanning for objects, for people and for things of interest along your path.

Our eyes face forward enabling us to stay safe and be aware of what we may encounter, but it is noticeable how many of us slightly drop our heads down, maybe a little bit lost in thought, or consumed with worries, or even wanting to avoid eye contact with passers by. We also might be feeling heavy, a little sad or low. And isn’t it interesting that when we might be ‘feeling low’, our heads might also be, ‘hanging low’……?

Sometimes, I stop for a second, if I’m walking in an area that is clear of people, traffic and obstacles, I lift my head up, look up at the sky and immediately my Joyometer rises, because I’m reminded of the vast galaxy and expanse of the cosmos above. I find this simple movement a good way of altering my vibration from a contemplative, possibly inward one; to an opening, joyful one!
Lifting my head up also reminds me of a simple truth: that there is a lot more out there, beyond the thoughts that might be filling my head.

Hello Cosmos - I am happy to be on Earth, spinning around in space with the rest of you (planets, stars super nova’s etc)! I find that these few seconds of recognition can really shift me in to a state of ‘awe and wonder’ - and the joy of not necessarily having the answers - especially around cosmic questions generated from those billions of miles away - just mere appreciation, in honour and recognition of the small me, with massive ideas within an infinite Universe. Whooosh!
